POSITIVELY IMPACTING HEALTH AND HUNGER

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to positively impact health and hunger by providing locally grown pesticide-free fruits and vegetables. We highlight African American Cuisine and a plant-based diet.

OUR FOOD
BUFA grows a variety of pesticide free, locally grown fruits and vegetables. Our specialty is greens. Some of our other offerings are Okra and Purple Hull Peas.

OUR FARM
Located in the fertile San Joaquin Valley, BUFA is inside the small town of French Camp, CA. We are constantly learning, cultivating and expanding to better serve our community.

BUFA Farms Pop Up Mobile Market
Come visit the Mobile Market!
The Mobile Market, in operation soon, will be a farm stand on wheels that brings fresh produce from BUFA Farms directly to Stockton area markets. Buying local produce keeps that money nearby where it can be reinvested in services and businesses in the community. We strive to offer the highest quality fresh produce, with a diverse range of seasonal food offerings.
We accept cash, debit, credit, and CalFresh/EBT

FOOD INSECURITY
Approximately 40% of the Stockton and surrounding communities are in a food desert. This means, defined by the USDA, that many areas are lacking access to fresh fruit, vegetables and other healthy foods, largely due to the lack of access to grocery stores or other food sources. Families who suffer from food insecurities are not able to access healthy foods and unfortunately suffer disproportionately higher from diet-related illnesses.
